Padannakkara Tourism project sanctioned
The State Government has given sanction for the proposed tourism project at Padannakkara in Kannur district, Mr. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Minister for Tourism has informed. The project involves development of the water front at Padannakkara near to popular destinations, Dharmadom and Muzhappilangad. The Rs. 704.2 million project will be implemented by the Kerala State Small Industries Development Corporation (SIDCO). Developing a park, boat jetty, parking area, seating, walkway and constructing a wall are different components of the project.
