Kerala Tourism Bags HolidayIQ Better Holiday Award

Kerala Tourism has been voted as 'India's favourite Waterfront Destination' by the HolidayIQ Better Holiday Awards. The award was for the backwater destination Alappuzha in Kerala. Mr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Prime Minister's Office & Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, presented the award to Dr. V. Venu, Principal Secretary, Kerala Tourism.

Dr. V. Venu said that the award is a recognition for the efforts of Kerala Tourism and that it reiterated the popularity the state enjoys among the travellers. Mr. Kadakampally Surendran, Minister for Tourism, Kerala, expressed his delight on learning that Alappuzha continues to be a favourite among travellers.
