Kerala Tourism is all set to promote the scenic Malabar region among the travellers. The project pegged at Rs. 32. 5 million intends to showcase the northern part of Kerala and increase the foreign and domestic tourist footfalls.
The ambitious river cruise project, Malanadu cruise, connecting eight rivers and backwaters of Kannur and Kasaragod districts is envisaged to go a long way in promoting the northern region of the State.
Kerala Tourism also intends to launch light and sound shows at its prime tourist destinations such as Bekal and Kannur and promote monsoon tourism in Wayanad.
