The Banasura Hill Resort is situated on a secluded area and access to resort might look bit difficult, if not for the free pickup and drop offered by the resort from the nearest railway station/airport (i.e. Kozhikode). However the resort offers the perfect getaway from hectic life of city.

We had booked an "Earth room" for our stay and true to its name, the room had a very close touch to nature. We were given a warm welcome by the resort team, starting with a Welcome drink. Room was very spacious and maintained very well. Resort also provided a guided nature trail within the resort as well to a nearby waterfalls. The resort also has a wellness center, wherein one could go for ayurvedic massage and rejuvenation. The food offered were also very tasty and had mix of both south and north indian dishes.

We would definitely recommend this resort to couples, family and friends who are looking for a nice break from the hectic life.

The perfect getaway location

Nestled amid the Banasura peaks is this remote and eco-friendly resort. it served as the perfect getaway for a long weekend (4 nights). The weather, food, staff and the surroundings simply win you over. Delicious local food from homegrown produce is served with meticulous attention to individual needs. The staff is professional yet friendly and extremely eager to help in any way possible. There is a lot to see around (edakkal caves, banasura dam, muthunga wildlife sanctuary etc). For those who don't wish to venture out of the resort too much, there is plenty to do within the resort too, including the trek to Banasura peak (moderately steep, but worth it for the view). The only minus is the poorly maintained roads about 2-3 km prior to the resort.

Highly recommended!! I spent 2 nights in this resort. Serene & blissful ambiance... Well behaved & organized team. They served sumptuous buffet and I can't thank them enough!. Earth rooms are simply superb; spacious, luxurious and cozy. Resort has indoor trekking which is a must do!.

a month ago on Google- This place doesn't need to be rated. Just head there for a.classy stay. You're bound to be amazed. The spa is great, the ambience n rooms are real good. Found everything to be well handled. The staff could be trained to interact bit more. Anweeks language training could be great. Other than this, the place is a dream come true

Awesome location and absolute privacy

Overall experience was good though I feel the rooms are little higher priced. The food was descent. Buffet is served for bf,lunch and dinner. Ala carte has the same items as buffet. Service is good. Staff are very courteous. There is no WiFi facility. You will find only Vodafone n Idea network once inside the resort. Not much of activities inside the resort. An ideal place to just sit and relax.
