- Kolukkumalai Jeep Safari And Tea Factory Visit.
Kolukkumalai is the highest tea plantation in the world.
We take our guest to kolukkumalai for sunrise or after lunch.
Kolukkumalai trip is a pure off road jeep safari of 14 KMs
through Kolukkumalai tea gardens. First we will take them to the
sunrise point called singapara ( Lion - Face ) and then we will take
to the highest oraganic tea factory in the world, which was built
around 1930's by the British. This tea factory is still Fucntional and
here guest will get a chance to sea how tea is processed
by orthodox method. Kolukkumalai is know for
its picturesque sunrise and this tea factory.
Guest can buy Kolukkumalai Tea from factory outlet
which is not available in local market as they export
Kolukkumalai tea rather than selling it locally.
For sunrise trip guest need to start to Kolukkumalai by early morning
4 AM and will reach back by breakfast time ( around 10 AM ).
For afternoon trips guest need to start
by 2:00 PM and will reach back around 7 PM.
After sunrise trip guest usually gets tired and take
rest till after noon or evening since the
ride uphill and down hill is bumpy. So after
sunrise trip it is preffered not to do activities till evening
- Tea Plantation Visit And Tea Factory Visit
For this activity we will take our guest to harisson malayalam tea estate and
guest can lear about how tea is plucked and have a hands on experience of
tea plucking themselves. They can walk through picturesque tea gardens and
take pictures. After tea plantation visit we will take the guest to harisson
malayalam tea factory. There they can see how tea is preapared using
mordern methods. We also arrange an tea tasting, where guests get to

We will take our guest for adventure sports like Kayaking, Water Zorbing, Paintball, Archery, Zip Lane, Slack Line.
Tribal village visit is a medium trek of 4-5 KMs through
the boundary of Mathikettan Shola National Park.
Tribal village visit involves many view points and different
kind of vegetable cultivation by tribals near
mathikettan shola national pak. For this activity if informed early
we will arrange camp fire and dinner in the tribal village.
With this guest can enjoy tribal cusine. Dinner will have tribal food.
Dinner and campfire is charged Extra.
Ghat road safari is either early morning or late evening safari through
the Ghat roads of Bodi Hills. It will be an open Jeep Safari of 26 KMs
from 5000 ft above sea level to 100 ft above sea level.
The view on either side of Ghat roads are mesmerizing.
During early morning safaris guest could see mist filled
valleys and sun rise from the mist. And during night
guest could see the night view of theni,bodi and madurai.
All these towns look like shining diamonds during
the down hill journey. The best part is sudden climate change as
they go down. which you can experience only in bodi hills.
