Overview
Karimeen Hut Resort is a resort situated on the shores of Canoli canal in the backwaters of Thrissur, near Guruvayur, Kerala. Karimeen hut offers several exciting facilities like fishing, boating, food, function area and safe swimming zone in the river. The resort is situated at the juncture where Puzhakkal river meets with canal, which makes it a great place for fishing. Canoli Canal (also known as Canoly Canal) is a manmade canal which is an extension of the west coast canal system. The canal has great historic significance in inland navigation as it was made way back in 1848 by then collector of Malabar, H. V. Conolly.
