Lake County Heritage home is a 120+ years old ancestral home which blends Portuguese, Dutch and Kerala Architecture. Recently renovated home, nestled near backwaters & surrounded by fruit trees, offers a quiet and private retreat. Located in Konthuruthy, near Cochin yacht club, we provide modern amenities such as air conditioned rooms, running hot and cold water, free breakfast, Wi-Fi and ample parking space. Home has 4 bedrooms which can accommodate upto 12 people. Guests can rent rooms or entire villa

Bella casa e proprietari molto ospitali

Una bella dimora d'epoca fuori città ma facilmente raggiungibile in taxi o autorisció. Le camere sono molto pulite, la colazione è buonissima e i proprietari sono una coppia davvero gentile e disponibile. Ti fanno sentire davvero a casa e fanno di tutto per fare felici gli ospiti, aiutando ad organizzare le escursioni nei dintorni, ordinando una cena a domicilio o semplicemente offrendo una deliziosa noce di cocco fresca dalla pianta o succulente varietà di banane.

Wonderful Heritage homestay location. It was Home away Home stay for all of us. It was located in main place and we can easily travel to the places. Such a lovely facility and maintained very well. Rooms were large enough to accommodate all 9 people in 2 rooms with sufficient beds. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the stay and ofcourse the swing in front of house. Entire facility was covered with mosquito nets so we did not feel any discomfort during the stay. Lovely kerala style breakfast were provided. Thanks to Mrs & Mr Sebastian for the care, love and tips for the site-seeing. We have thoroughly enjoyed.

Excellent Hosts in a Lovingly restored mansion

The owners were extremely helpful and friendly which we really appreciated. A lovely grand old home which has been fully restored. A very nice room with all the facilities we required. Though not in central Fort Kochi, it is only a 20 minute rickshaw ride to the main tourist and attraction areas. Having said that, it is very nice to be in a quiet residential area. Breakfast was delicious. A traditional local breakfast which was way better than the standard toast and eggs offer places offer. Once again, we really appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. Excellent hosts!

Accueil très chaleureux de Stella et sebastien. Très jolie maison pleine de charme, bien rénovée. Très bonne cuisine de Stella. Nos hôtes étaient aux petits soins pour notre famille.

I like the place a lot. Though I was traveling with my dog, in the Heritage Home we both have enough space to sleep, play and walk. Every morning I was eating different and tasty breakfast. Rooms are big and clean. Very good location and beautiful garden with Lake surprised me in good way. Owners were helpful and made me feel as a part of their family however didn't bother at all. It was nice stay. Definitely will come back to Heritage Home.

Unvergessliche Weihnachtstage mit Stella und Sebastian im Lake County Heritage Home!

Das Frühstück wurde jeden Morgen von Stella frisch zubereitet. Ein richtig gesundes, keralesisches Mahl. Das Haus ist wunderbar, geräumige Zimmer, die Betten sind ok und der Garten, gepflegt und eine Wucht! Die Hausherrin Stella und der Hausherr Sebastian sind die nettesten Gastgeber, die man sich vorstellen kann. Sie haben uns wirklich bei all unseren Reiseplänen unterstützt und uns auch in ihre Familie aufgenommen. Das Haus steht in einem ruhigeren Teil von Ernukalam und wir konnten hier wirklich gut die Weihnachtstage genießen.

Our stay in this serene and quiet atmosphere was awesome. Hosts were very helpful and all our needs were met with a positive attitude. The homely food was excellent and will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Grandeur in Cochi

Kid-friendly Heritage Home

We were really very lucky to come across such gracious hosts. Our daughter (less than two) fell sick and the head of the home personally took to caring for her, making sure she had fresh bananas and other clean fruit everyday. Also, she gave us great recommendations for sight-seeing and purchasing saris only found in Kerala. We only wish we had more time and were feeling better so that we could enjoy the famous beach about an hour away by car

Beautiful property + Awesome hosts = Great memories!
We stayed here during a family get-together. There were 10 of us, including a toddler and a baby. After a long drive from bangalore, i was looking forward to a good night's sleep, and that was easily achieved thanks to the quiet and peaceful surroundings. All the bedrooms are air conditioned, and the bathrooms are clean. Mr and Mrs Sebastian, were just the best hosts we could've hoped for. Neither intrusive nor elusive. They stay in a separate building on the property, and were always available when we needed them, whether it was for menu requests or to answer our many questions about the house, which has a lot of history to it. Very pleasant people. The house itself is quite large and spacious. My 2 year old son, who was just learning how to run, had a great time being chased by his grandparents, aunties and uncles! I'd whole heartedly recommend LCHH to anybody looking to get some peace and quiet.

Loved the poetry of nature at Lake county

felt my lungs inflate with the onrush of scenery—air,, trees, people. I thought, This is what it is to be happy. Our family get-together with 10 members of our family was most entertaining, yet private and warm in the beautiful surroundings. We are still enjoying the delightful sweet days and it will remain with us for long time to come. The food was delicious and inviting. Love to visit time and again to refresh our experience.

Our stay at the Lake County Heritage Home was an experience like no other. The quintessential 'home away from home' experience. The building itself reeks history and the walls echo of happy family memories. Large corridors and open spaces..perfect for a family holiday, especially a large family that wants to stay under one roof ! Well maintained with yummy homely food and the convenience of being in the heart of a city yet away from it all.. Perfect place to create some memories of your own :)
