Vagamon Hills

The slopes of Vagamon in Idukki have drawn in visitors in large numbers, since the British first discovered it and found it ideal for tea plantations. Today this sleepy town is home to magnificent vantage points, rare endemic fauna and medicinal herbs, along with some of the finest trekking trails in God’s Own Country. At an altitude of 1,100 m above sea level, it is an emerging international paragliding destination of South India. Come over to experience its misty hills, lush grasslands and massive plantations that never fail to mesmerise its visitors.
