Dear Sir/ Madam,
We like to tour tour Kerala with Kanyakumarika from 23rd Dec.
The details plan, what we like to have is given below for your reference.
Request you to organize the tour for us (me 44 yrs, wife 42 yrs, son 14 yrs).
TOUR ITINERARY:
DAY 01 [23rd December 2018]: ARRIVE AT COCHIN TO MUNNAR (4HRS)
Upon your arrival at Cochin airport/railway station you will be met by our executive who will introduce the driver to you. Later you will be transferred to the nature lover’s paradise - Munnar. Enroute stop by at Cheeyapara & Valera waterfalls and the misty hill station with amazing natural beauty. On Arrival check into the hotel. (Overnight at hotel in Munnar)
DAY 02 [24th December 2018]: IN MUNNAR / SIGHTSEEING
Today you can have the full day sightseeing tour of the Romantic hills in Munnar, where you can visit the Eravikulam National Park (closed during February -1st week of April) to witness the jungle habitants and different and rare spices of wildlife. Then visit the Mattupetty dam which is constructed 1800 m above the sea level. Echo point- The calmness of this place is frequently disturbed by the visitors since the word you throw to the nature in air, comes back again as an echo. In the evening take a quiet walk and explore the undisturbed nature. (Overnight stay in Munnar)
DAY 03 [25th December 2018]: MUNNAR TO THEKKADY (4HRS)
Check out from hotel after breakfast and drive to Periyar (also known as Thekkady). Thekkady in India’s largest wildlife sanctuary is a dream destination for any tourist visiting India. The 120 years old 'Surki' dam built across Peryiar, Poorna in Vedic parlance, is a major tourist attraction. This sanctuary is spread over an area of 777 Sq. Kms, surrounded by an artificial lake over an area of 25 Sq.Kms. The Country's sole Tiger reserve, Thekkady, with its bountiful treasures of tropical flora and fauna is the ultimate reservoir of many an endangered species and a rich tribal culture. Thekkady is a pleasant heaven on earth for those who love nature in its wild manifestations. On arrival check in to hotel. Evening, enjoy boat riding at Periyar Lake. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
DAY 04 [26th December 2018]: THEKKADY TO ALLEPPEY (4.5HRS)
Breakfast at residing hotel. Early morning check out and drive down the winding hills to reach Alleppey so called the Venice of East. On arrival check in to your private Houseboat that is waiting to take you on a tour through the backwaters of Alleppey, a splendid area full of canals, lakes and coves. (Overnight on board Houseboat)
DAY 05 [27th December 2018]: ALLEPPEY TO KOVALAM (5.0HRS)
After breakfast disembark form Houseboat and transfer to Kovalam – One of the most beautiful palm fringed beaches of Kerala. Enroute visit to “Sri Padmanabhswami Temple” (Subject to temple opening time, Non Hindu’s are not allowed inside the temple). Later visit the famous “Napier Museum” – the art and natural history museum is one of the oldest in India. The Napier Museum has an astounding display of traditional Kerala chariots and ivory carvings. If interested visit to the “Zoo” and then reach to Kovalam. (Overnight at hotel in Kovalam).
Enjoy the beach till the sun set in the Arabian Sea at Kovalam. (Overnight at hotel in Kovalam).
DAY 06 [28th December 2018]: IN KOVALAM // KANYAKUMARI DAY EXCURSION
Departing the hotel after early breakfast, to day you will be on a day return excursion to Kanyakumari – so called the lands end in South India. While enroute you will visit to the wooden palace at Padmanabhpuram. On reaching Kanyakumari you will visit to “Sri Kumari Amman temple”, “Vivekananda rock”, Gandhi memorial. Enjoy the beautiful sunset in the evening at Kanyakumari. Later back to the hotel at Kovalam. (Overnight at hotel in Kovalam).
DAY 07 [29th December 2018]: DEPARTURE TO TRIVANDRUM
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Trivandrum, the tour ends today with in time transfer to airport/ railway station for your onward journey with beautiful memories of Kerala.
