Cost of our trip
Hi there,
Me and my husband intend to travel from Kochi to Kanyakumari from 3rd January to 12th January by hiring a taxi. This is our proposed itinerary, can you please tell me how much it's going to cost us?
Kochi to Kanyakumari Trip
Day 0 (3rd Jan): Kochi
On arrival transfer from Airport to Hotel Trident
Day 1 (4th Jan): Visit Lulla Mall, Jewish synagogue, Jew Street, St Francis church (or Edappally church), Chinese fishing nets, Marine drive etc.
Day 2 (5th Jan): Cochin to Munnar (3 hours 42 mins)
After breakfast check out and start to Munnar. Arrive at hotel (Leaf Munnar ) and check in. Later go from hotel to Pallisival Tea Estate, then Blossom Hyde Park, and finally Pothamedu viewpoint.
Day 3 (6th Jan): Munnar
After breakfast proceed to visit Kanana Deven Tea Estate, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Dam.
Day 4 (7th Jan): Munnar to Thekkady (2 hours 50 minutes)
After breakfast drive to Thekkady through the western ghat mountains, en-route visit the spice plantations and tea gardens, Later check in to the hotel (Coffee and Pepper Plantation Homestay). Overnight stay.
Day 5 (8th Jan): Thakkady
After breakfast proceeds for local sightseeing like Periyar National Park, Pandikuzhi viewpoint.
Enjoy a boating (on direct payment) in periyar lake part of South Indias most popular wildlife sanctuary. Then you can visit a Spice Plantation, Tribal village, Elephant ride and see some Kerala culture in Kalari Payattu and Kathakali. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6 (9th Jan): Thakkady to Alleppey
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Alleppey passed tea gardens and rubber plantations and check in to the hotel (Sterling Lake Palace Alleppey). Later enjoy the sightseeing of Alleppey like Mullakkal temple, church, beach etc. After visit overnight stay in Alleppey.
Day 7 (10th Jan): Alleppey to Kovalam
After breakfast check-out from hotel and drive to Kovalam and check in to the hotel (Bethsaida Hermitage). Later visit Kovalam light house beach, Poovar Island Boat Cruise, Chilly Restaurant for awesome lunch near Golden Beach.
Day 8 (11th Jan): Kovalam to Kanyakumari (2Hours 30 minutes)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kanyakumari, and on the way visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Shangumugham Beach. Check-in hotel (Anantya Resorts), Later visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Mahatma Gandhi memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue, and sunset point.
Day 9 (12th Jan): Kanyakumari to Trivandrum
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Trivandrum airport.
