Later he was initiated as a Sanyasin by the Guru and received the name Atmananda. Atmananda Swami was invited by Govitananda Swami to Kancheepuram Ashram. He visited the Ashram many times and helped Govindananda to improve the Sree Narayana Seva Ashram. He wrote and published many poems about the Guru including the famous ‘Sree Narayana Dharma', which is one of the best books that gives a true insight into the thoughts and philosophies of the Guru.
