Vision 2031

With the aim of positioning Kerala as a globally attractive tourism destination, the Department of Tourism is organizing the seminar "Tourism Vision 2031 - Kerala, Desired by the World." This one-day workshop is focused on the comprehensive development of the tourism sector in the state.

The workshop will be held on 25th October 2025 at Marian College, Kuttikkanam, Idukki.

Led by academic experts, students, and industry professionals in the tourism sector, the workshop will explore strategic goals, new opportunities, and innovative approaches to shape the future of Kerala tourism.

The sessions will focus on eight key themes, including the importance of preserving Kerala's rich cultural and natural heritage, ensuring long-term sustainability of the tourism sector, and leveraging technology to enhance the visitor experience.

The seminar is also expected to bring forward recommendations aimed at transforming Kerala into a premium, vibrant global tourism destination, while also developing tourism as a major pillar of the state's economy.

ലോകസഞ്ചാരത്തിന്റെ ആകര്‍ഷണമാക്കി കേരളത്തെ പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായും സജ്ജമാക്കുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ കേരള ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ് "വിഷൻ 2031- ലോകം കൊതിക്കും കേരളം" സെമിനാര്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ്. സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ടൂറിസം മേഖലയിലെ സമഗ്ര വികസനം ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടുള്ള ഏകദിന ശില്പശാലയാണ് "വിഷൻ 2031- ലോകം കൊതിക്കും കേരളം". 2025 ഒക്ടോബർ 25-ന്, ഇടുക്കി കുട്ടിക്കാനം മരിയൻ കോളജിൽ വച്ചാണ് ശില്പശാല നടത്തുന്നത്. ടൂറിസം മേഖലയിലെ അക്കാദമിക് വിദഗ്ധർ, വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ, വ്യവസായ പ്രതിനിധികൾ തുടങ്ങിയവരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ ടൂറിസത്തിന്റെ ഭാവിയെ രൂപപ്പെടുത്താൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന തന്ത്രപരമായ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങൾ, പുതിയ അവസരങ്ങൾ, പുതുമയാർന്ന സമീപനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ ഈ ശില്പശാലയിൽ ചർച്ച ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്.

കേരളത്തിന്റെ സമ്പന്നമായ സാംസ്‌കാരികവും പ്രകൃതിദത്തവുമായ പൈതൃകത്തെ സംരക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെ ആവശ്യം, ടൂറിസം മേഖലയുടെ ദീർഘകാല നിലനില്പ് ഉറപ്പാക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യം, സന്ദർശക അനുഭവം മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിന് സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയുടെ പ്രയോജനം തുടങ്ങിയ എട്ട് വിഷയങ്ങളെ അടിസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തിയ പ്രത്യേക സെഷനുകള്‍ ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ്. കേരളത്തെ ഒരു ഉന്നത നിലവാരമുള്ള, സജീവമായ ആഗോള ടൂറിസം ലക്ഷ്യസ്ഥാനമായി മാറ്റുന്നതിനൊപ്പം സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ സാമ്പത്തിക മേഖലയിലെ പ്രധാന ഘടകമായി ടൂറിസത്തെ വളര്‍ത്താനും ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്ന നിര്‍ദ്ദേശങ്ങളാകും സെമിനാറില്‍ ഉയരുക. സെമിനാര്‍ സമ്പുഷ്ടമാക്കുന്നതിന് എല്ലാവരുടേയും സഹകരണം പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
