Edava, located close to Varkala, offers a quieter coastal setting compared to some of Kerala’s more frequented dive locations. The stretch between Varkala and Edava remains relatively low-key, with fewer crowds and a slower pace on the surface.
Diving in this region is typically conducted along the Varkala–Edava coastline, where conditions can be more relaxed depending on the season and other weather conditions. The experience here is less about high activity and more about a steady, unhurried introduction to the underwater environment.
This setting can work well for beginners as well as for those who prefer guided dives in smaller groups. With fewer distractions above the surface, the focus remains on the dive itself, making it a suitable option for a more easy-going and measured experience.
