Kathakali Festivals in Kerala

There are festivals exclusively for Kathakali in Kerala.

Some of these are:
The Kathakali festival held at Asramam Sri Krishna Swamy Temple in Kollam district of Kerala.  It is held every month on the asterism ‘Rohini’ as per the Malayalam calendar.

Another one is the Thodayam Kathakali Yogam in Kozhikode district of Kerala. This festival is held throughout the year, except during the months of June and July. It is held as a one-day event.

A three-day annual Kathakali festival is organized by Thrippunithura Kathakali Kendram in Ernakulam district of Kerala. You still need to check out the date and other aspects of the above events in advance and proceed accordingly.
