Ramakalmedu

Outstanding natural beauty makes the hills of Ramakalmedu an attractive picnic spot. There is also a divine touch to the place for it derived its name from Lord Rama, the central character in the Hindu epic Ramayana. Lord Rama is believed to have visited the hills and there is a rock here with the feet-impressions said to be that of Lord Rama.
