Golden Beach at Janardhanapuram is known to be one of the less turbulent surfing areas along the Varkala beach line. The shore is quite spacious with mild beach breaks, thus making it an ideal place for the beginners and the early-stage surfers. The waves are usually of low intensity and more foreseeable, thus allowing the learners to master their balance and timing without any fear of getting caught in the strong currents.
